Is the aerth flat or round? Do articles work as marketing tools?

There are many so-called experts online who swear that articles do not work. It really does not bother me because a couple of centuries ago some folks did not only swear that the earth was flat but were prepared to kill all those who suggested that it is round. So nothing is really new.
